Job Description
Title: Agile Scrum Master Location: Washington DC 20433 Duration: 07 Months - Long Term Hybrid Onsite: 4 Days per week from Day1 Onsite Mission: Moving to Agile and need a good scrum master and come with strong hold on deliverables.
Agile Expertise Experience managing requirements in an agile format from discovery through to delivery in an ongoing successful/sustainable model. Safe Agile, Building Agile teams.
Scrum Experience: Experience as a scrum master & running Agile ceremonies, keeping stakeholders updated wrt to status. Scrum master will be involved in to Sprint meetings.
Qualifications: - Someone who is a good Agile Scrum master (will be running scrum, safe Agile methodology, user stories, capturing and developing and tracking and understand Sprints and Sprint Ceremonies).
- Need Agile Scrum masters who understands Full stack Work Management.
- 8+ years' experience leading and managing incremental software development projects using an Agile Scrum approach with successful product delivery.
- Certified Scrum Master/Scrum Practitioner with experience with Scrum teams and use of continuous integration tools and techniques in test-driven development.
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure, JIRA, VersionOne or similar project management tools.
Job Duties: Senior Scrum Master for a team that supports multiple applications. Responsible for weekly and/or daily meetings with the Product Owner(s), government leadership and development team to discuss ongoing software development modifications to achieve client satisfaction goals. Additionally, the job requires:
- Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements for software projects.
- Work closely with project stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Create detailed business requirements documentation and functional specifications.
- Conduct gap analysis and identify areas for process improvement.
- Facilitate communication between clients and the development team to ensure an accurate understanding of requirements.
- Create and update individual product backlogs resulting from an Agile development approach.
- As a Scrum Master, facilitate the development, standardization, and implementation of Agile software development processes. Primary resource responsible for gathering and creating documented requirements using Azure Board.
- Lead all Agile sprint ceremonies, including sprint planning, product backlog refinement, sprint review, and retrospective. Primary liaison with Product Owners when clarity is required concerning user stories and user acceptance criteria.
- Lead the Scrum team in using Agile methodology and Scrum practices to manage scope and timelines by reinforcing MVP.
- Support the Product Owner and provide Agile coaching and education where needed. Coordinate and manage backlog, sprints, metrics, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups. Support the Product Owner and provide user application training where needed.
- Facilitate recommendations regarding software development releases and requirements for customer consideration and approval.
Educational Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
Certification: SAFe Agile certification
