Overview Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a part time Cleaner at St Bartholomew’s Court, Playden. The position of Cleaner is referred to internally at Sanctuary, as General Assistant - Cleaning. Responsibilities Undertaking general duties as assigned, such as maintaining the cleanliness of all communal areas, offices, and the kitchen Ensuring all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard Identifying and reporting potential faults and hazards on site, to maintain a safe environment Maintaining stock levels, restocking as required and ensuring equipment is used in line with guidance notes Helping to prepare meals and drinks, following food hygiene standards, and ensuring the needs of our customers are met Ensuring customers’ privacy and dignity are maintained and respected Skills and Experience Working knowledge and experience of undertaking general cleaning duties is desirable Some experience of working in a domestic/catering environment Level 2 diploma in housekeeping/catering, or willing to work towards Good interpersonal and customer service skills A general understanding of health and safety in the work place Benefits At least 25 days paid holiday, rising to 30 days after 5 years’ service (plus public holidays) pro rata A pension scheme with employer contributions A variety of online discounts and rewards from major retailers Health and well-being plans Life assurance Family friendly arrangements, including opportunities for flexible working Tax efficient savings through our Cycle to Work scheme A wide range of learning and development opportunities Job Reference: 226313 We are only currently accepting applications from those with the right to work in the UK.
