Job Description

A licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is needed to support students in a K-12 educational setting. This contract position, covering the current school year, involves working with a caseload of approximately 30 students across multiple school sites within the Anaheim, CA area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized occupational therapy services to K-12 students, assisting with developmental and functional goals.
• Travel between various school locations to meet student needs; mileage reimbursement will be provided.
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and regulatory policies.
• Participate in team meetings, providing professional insights to promote student success.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid California certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
• Experience working with children in educational or pediatric settings preferred.
• Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 30 students effectively.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate services across multiple sites.
• Flexibility to work scheduled hours from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM during school days.
• Reliable transportation for travel to several locations within the assignment area.
