The brand’s iconic Hot Light lets guests know when doughnuts are being made fresh in shop so they can enjoy hot doughnuts fresh off the line. To make Krispy Kreme’s in-shop experience even sweeter, many shops across the globe feature the brands one-of-a-kind doughnut theater, an immersive, interactive experience through which guests can see Krispy Kreme’s melt-in-your-mouth doughnuts being made right before their eyes.

It’s the sweetest time of year again here at Krispy Kreme! Our 10-week internship is designed for rising juniors, seniors, and grad students looking to make full use of their talents with a hands-on work experience. Throughout your time during our internship program, you will tackle meaningful projects that leave a lasting impact; you will receive support and guidance from your manager along with interaction with members of our Global Leadership Team. Your internship will continue to develop your business acumen and professional skills.

Krispy Kreme’s IT Intern- Cybersecurity will be responsible for daily activities associated with information security throughout the business including investigating and reporting cybersecurity incidents, vulnerability scanning and remediation, and patch management.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

• Work with the IT team to design and implement security controls based on industry frameworks.
• Participate in cybersecurity awareness activities.
• Responds and to cybersecurity alerts.
• Participates in incident response exercises.
• Monitors multiple cybersecurity systems.
• Assists with vulnerability remediation.
• Perform log analysis and identify anomalies with escalation if necessary.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and administration of risk management strategy and mitigation activities.
• Acts as a trusted advisor for security related questions and concerns.
• Identify log sources necessary to enhance security.
• Drive and build security controls with information security standards such as NIST, SOX, and CIS Controls

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:

• Must be currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited university
• Working knowledge of computer hardware, software and network operations and capabilities.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Any combination of education and/or experience within IT field or related courses.
• Ability to efficiently work in a hybrid (remote and in-office) environment
• And of course… LOVE DOUGHNUTS!
