Our fast-growing communications agency is looking for an ambitious Graphic Designer to help support our marketing team (creative and digital initiatives). This designer will help lead and support creative content creation and execution for our healthcare clients. As a graphic designer, you will be one of two designers on a marketing team. In this role, you will help support the creative needs of 40+ biotech clients within a fast-paced, thriving environment. This candidate must be a self-starter who is able to work both independently and with a team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual to grow with the department.

Qualifications & Competencies:

• BFA design-related degree and 5+ years of relevant work experience as a graphic designer
• Strong graphic design skills with impeccable attention to detail and organization
• Adobe Creative Suite expert—especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, and Premier Pro
• Expert working in Microsoft Office—especially PowerPoint, Canva
• A flexible skill set and aesthetic range
• An eagerness to continue growing your design toolkit
• Comfort in a deadline-driven environment, with a strong ability to develop and deliver work promptly and to handle multiple projects at a time
• A high level of productivity and proactiveness, especially when developing new ideas
• Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to explain your creative vision/process in relation to the project goals to cross-functional partners
• Comfortable taking art direction, receiving feedback, and navigating multiple points of view
• An interest in being an avid collaborator
• Fast learner and an independent self/starter

Job Functions

• Work with the marketing team to support all creative initiatives
• Create social media graphics (a lot!), website, logos, and branding (PPT templates, letterhead, business cards, etc.) for emerging biotech companies
• Video and animation editing (mostly for social media)
• Help to design marketing materials across 40+ brands
• Design within brand style guidelines
• Give constructive feedback to developers and freelancers
• Collaborate with account teams to develop creative solutions for clients
• Design corporate presentations/templates
• Work with developers to design corporate landing pages/websites
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for new creative initiatives
• Complete projects from concept through to completion (including file preparation)

Bonus skills:

• Healthcare experience is a major plus
• Video/animation experience is a major plus
• Illustration experience is a major plus
• Experience with photography or photo editing
• Strong illustration skills
• Web design/UX
• Animation

• WordPress
