The Department of BioMolecular Sciences in the School of Pharmacy at The University of Mississippi invites applications for a full-time Instructional Design and Training Specialist as an on-campus, remote, or hybrid position. The successful candidate will have: Familiarity with learning management systems, in particular Blackboard Proficiency in eLearning platforms such as Articulate 360 Demonstrated ability to create new content from content material from faculty Capacity to ensure consistency across courses and content delivery in the program Examples of Work Performed The responsibilities of the position are to: Provide instructional design services and support technology for online instruction in graduate education in science. Train and assist faculty and staff on instructional technology. Develop measures to assess learning outcomes of technology-enhanced instruction. Promote instructional technology educational programs. Essential Functions These essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following: Organizes and develops curricula, materials and programs to meet specific training needs. Partners with subject matter experts to provide input for course content. Works to ensure course materials are current and relevant. Plans and coordinates skill assessments and trainings. Edits, reviews, and updates existing materials based on curriculum changes.
