As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—from the comfort of your home. Responsibilities Deliver one-on-one online tutoring for Microsoft Office applications, tailoring instruction to individual student needs and learning styles. Utilize the Live Learning Platform to conduct sessions remotely; manage tutoring sessions and student progress. Invoicing and understanding payment timelines as you receive compensation for tutoring sessions. Adapt materials and pacing to maximize student understanding and engagement. What We Look For In a Tutor Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in Microsoft Office and the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.
