The Organization:
Wellspring Churchs vision is to see disciples of Jesus characterized by worship, formation and mission that renew the city and lead to a movement of new churches, while proclaiming the glory of Gods Kingdom amidst a broken world. Wellspring's community can be described as "three streams" of Spirit, Word, and Sacrament which means it's alive in the Spirit, grounded in the Gospel, and formed in the Liturgy.
The Position:
The Mission Pastor will lead Wellspring Church by 1) catalyzing renewal of Englewood by overseeing all local outreach including internal Compassion Ministry programming, liaison to CrossPurpose, and maintaining a robust array of community partnerships, 2) equipping and pastoring the congregation to live into their calling as missionaries for Christ in our culture and in all dimensions of life, and 3) supporting our global outreach by overseeing the Global Connectors team, caring for our missionaries, and developing our vision for overseas involvement.
