A K-12 educational opportunity is available in Long Beach, CA, seeking a dedicated paraprofessional to support student learning and classroom activities. This contract position is for the current school year, providing valuable assistance in a dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in delivering instruction and managing classroom activities
• Support individual and small group student learning, adapting instruction as needed
• Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Prepare instructional materials and organize classroom resources
• Monitor student behavior and provide feedback to teachers
• Collaborate with educators and staff to support student development and achievement

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Experience working as a paraprofessional or in an educational support role within K-12 settings
• Ability to communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Patience, flexibility, and commitment to fostering student success
• Familiarity with instructional strategies and accommodations for diverse learners is preferred
• Relevant certification or training as required by state educational standards
