Position Type: Part-Time

Average Hours: Fewer than 30 hours per week

Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Wage Increases:

• Year 2 - $18.50
• Year 3 - $19.00
• Year 4 - $19.00
• Year 5 - $20.00

Duties and Responsibilities: You will be expected to perform your duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate important information to your direct leader.
• Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data in your area of responsibility.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process customer purchases, maintain cleanliness, and neatly stock shelves.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers throughout their experience.
• Provide constructive feedback to management on products, inventory issues, and scanning errors.
• Participate in inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.

Stocker Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves and rotate products to ensure freshness for customers.
• Follow planograms to create well-organized product displays.
• Organize new inventory and manage packaging waste.
• Operate equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols.

Store Associate Responsibilities:

• Assist with Curbside Shopping orders and fulfill both cashier and stocker duties as needed.

Physical Demands:

• Must regularly sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk throughout the store.
• Ability to stock merchandise from receiving to shelving, including lifting items weighing up to 45 pounds.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Execute general cleaning duties to company standards.
• Interpret and apply company policies effectively.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Manage time effectively and demonstrate knowledge of company products and services.

Store Associate & Cashier: Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently.

Store Associate & Cashier: Comply with local regulations for alcohol sales.

Store Associate & Stocker: Safely operate various equipment, including hand jacks and scrubbers.

Stocker: Availability for morning shifts, starting as early as 5:00 a.m., is essential.

Education and Experience:

• Preferred: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Retail experience is a plus.
• Combination of education and experience providing necessary knowledge is acceptable.
