Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) with 3 years of experience and current BLS and RDCS or RCS certifications to work with inpatient and outpatient cardiac populations.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is in an inpatient and outpatient cardiac setting
• Shift is 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Call is required as part of the schedule
• Patient diagnoses include valvular disease, CHF, oncology, congenital anomalies, cardiomyopathy, and cardiogenic shock
• Documentation using Epic EMR is preferred
• 50 mile radius rule in effect with locals accepted at a reduced rate
• Responsibilities include performing cardiac sonography for both inpatient and outpatient populations with a range of cardiac conditions
• Training modules completed during orientation and recorded via MyPath
• Employees must have not worked at the facility within the past year to be considered
• Two professional references are required for consideration
• Must provide a copy of driver’s license and social security card for consideration

• Current BLS certification required
• RDCS or RCS certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of cardiac sonography experience required
• Travel experience is preferred but first-time travelers will be considered
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• License required if applicable and must be in-hand prior to start
