\n\nTravel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work in a 39-bed progressive care unit (23 step down beds, 16 med-surg beds)
\n• Patient ratios: 1:3-4 for step down patients, 1:4-6 for med-surg patients
\n• Day shift: 1 charge nurse, 11 RNs, 4 PCTs
\n• Night shift: 1 charge nurse, 10 RNs, 4 PCTs
\n• Work with equipment including lifts, chest tubes, cardiac drips, stable ventilated patients, and trachs
\n• Electronic Medical Record system: Cerner
\n• Perform typical procedures including trach care, chest tubes, and wound dressing changes
\n• Float to other med-surg and progressive care units as needed
\n• Weekend requirement: 6 Saturday or Sunday shifts in a 6-week period
\n• Dress code: Navy blue scrubs
\n• Must have 2 years nursing experience and experience working with trachs
\n• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
\n• Previous Cerner experience preferred
\n• Must demonstrate flexibility and high level of clinical competence
