Hourly Pay Range:
$33.35 - $51.69 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Ultrasound Technologist- Days Posit i on H i gh li ghts: - Position: Ultrasound Technologist
- Location: Evanston Hospital
- Full Time/Part Time: Full Time 40 hours
- Hours: Monday-Friday 9:30 AM-6 PM, rotating weekends
- Call: 6-8 calls per month/ as needed
- Required Travel: Local- Skokie as needed
What you will do : - Perform ultrasound exam
- Prepare patients for exam: obtains and records history, explains procedure, positions patients and ensures their comfort
- Interprets ultrasound
- Cleans and maintains equipment
- Schedules patients if necessary
What you will need : - License: N/A
- Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
- Certification: CPR-BLS required. Completion of formal ultrasound program approved by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers required. Registry eligible required; prefer Registered Ultra sonographer
