Overview: GovCIO is looking for a talented Enterprise Architect and Cloud Engineer to enhance our team focused on supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs. This critical role involves ensuring the successful planning, testing, and deployment of IT products, while also safeguarding and optimizing the underlying infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert enterprise architecture guidance and engineering support for product launches.
• Manage production environment applications for optimal functionality and performance.
• Lead customer enablement and success teams in troubleshooting and performance improvement.
• Oversee self-service request management and resource allocation for efficiency.
• Ensure continuous product sustenance and excellence in service delivery.
• Facilitate the migration of products and infrastructure to secure and scalable cloud environments.

Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience, or equivalent expertise.
• Strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD with modern automation tools such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of data governance, cybersecurity principles, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience in Azure and hybrid cloud environments.
• Ability to align IT strategy with business objectives and team structures.
• Proficient in communicating complex technical concepts to stakeholders.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Developed API and UI applications using .NET Web API, C#, and SQL Server Database.
• Familiar with Angular, TypeScript, and UI libraries like PrimeNG and Bootstrap.
• Implemented custom role-based authorization systems.
• Skilled in GIT workflows and Agile methodologies.
• Possessing relevant technology certifications.

Clearance Required: Ability to obtain and maintain a suitability/Public Trust clearance.

Posted Pay Range: USD $150,000.00 - USD $185,000.00 /Yr.
