La Stella Cucina Verace is looking for a warm, organized, and enthusiastic Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a welcoming atmosphere and delivering a memorable dining experience. The Hostess will manage reservations, greet and seat guests, and ensure the seamless flow of the dining area. As a part of our front-of-house team, the Hostess will play a key role in representing La Stella’s dedication to authentic Italian hospitality and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests with a welcoming attitude and assist them as they arrive and depart
• Manage reservations and seating assignments to ensure smooth operations and timely guest seating
• Answer phone calls professionally, provide information about La Stella’s menu and services, and accommodate reservation requests
• Communicate wait times effectively and update guests on their reservation status
• Coordinate with the waitstaff and management to maintain an efficient flow of service and handle any special seating requests
• Ensure the reception area and front of house are clean, organized, and presentable
• Provide guests with a knowledgeable introduction to our authentic Italian menu and assist with any inquiries about the restaurant

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Hostess or similar role in a fine-dining restaurant preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and handle a fast-paced environment professionally
• Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for guest service
• Knowledge of Italian cuisine or previous work in an Italian restaurant is a plus
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
